About Rule 13 Cyclery
It all begins with an idea. Rule 13 began with an idea that a cyclist should not have to wait days to having their bicycle serviced. The business is owner operated by Cameron Newton, a cyclist by trade. Cameron began cycling recreationally and soon learned the pains of maintaining a fleet of bicycles. As his arsenal of bikes grew as did his family. The number of bicycles he managed personally grew as did he desire to learn how to properly maintain them. Cameron was working a shift schedule overnight so the traditional local bike shop hours rarely matched up with his schedule. He believes in providing his customers with convenient service at a convenient time.
Cameron attended bicycle maintenance seminars and classes to learn how to properly maintain and repair bicycles. He is a member of the Professional Bicycle Mechanics Association as well as the International Police Mountain Bike Association where he maintains a Public Safety Cyclist Instructor Certification.
Cameron is very active in the cycling community and also races for local DFW sports team Trinity Cycling.
